What’s so special?
The Seiko 6139-7070, often nicknamed the “Baby Jumbo,” sits in one of the most important automatic chronograph families ever made. Seiko’s 6139 movement was among the earliest automatic chronograph calibers to reach the market, pairing a day-date display with a practical 30-minute chronograph in a rugged late-1970s case shape.
The 7070 case gives the watch its charm: broad, purposeful, and unmistakably vintage without wearing as large as the full “Jumbo” models. It is a very wearable way to own a historically important Seiko automatic chronograph.
