In the mid 1950s American watchmaker Bulova produced a variety of high quality fully stainless timepieces including this 1959 Sea King three hand men’s watch. Featuring a unique case design with retro-futurism inspired lugs, unique polished alpha minute and hour hands, and dagger indicies. In addition to the notable design, the case also featured Bulova’s patented US2871654A two-piece waterproof watch case that incorporated compression of the plastic crystal for increased water resistance.
